My cat from years ago, Miss Lightning, used to do that. I wised up real quick and about 7 each evening, every time I saw her asleep I'd gently wake her up, call her to me and pet her. Do that the evening after she's kept you up all night and I bet she is sawing logs with you come bedtime. lol
