LOL, I take it the awards were disappointing this year? I didn't even bother watching. I rarely ever have seen more than 1 or 2 of the movies anyway.
I worked last night, so I didn't see them either--but I found out this morning! I'm just disappointed about Crash winning best picture--and I actually really liked Crash. But it wasn't as good as some of the other nominees.
*cough* Brokeback Mountain! *cough*

I actually haven't watched the other movies, only Crash. So, I can't justifiably say that it shouldn't have won, but from what I've heard, Brokeback was the better of the two.

Remember when the Oscars were good? Yeah, me either. But I just can't seem to stop myself from watching the Academy Awards year after year. The first step in the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right??
ps once the winner for Best Picture was announced, the only two words I seemed to be capable of uttering was Crash?!? and Bullshit for a good five or ten minutes.
